Toyota and Honda are the next Motorola and Nokia. They used to be great reliable cars now they are pedda latkor boring cars with no upgraded tech.

Toyota was first auto maker to introduce fuel efficient and reliable vehicles....... their ignorance to change on EV lead to their downfall........ too much of ego and the 90's japanese tech boom gone into their heads heavily. 1990's Japan were totally different..... Mana Childhood days any big premium consumer product you see more than 75% of them  were Japanese..... Canon camera, Sony TV, walkman and speakers, panasonic, nitendo, Pioneer, toshiba laptops. 

1990's lo Sony products ante aa brand value totally different undedi, Not even Apple can match that brand premium now.

1990's I remember Speakers Sound quality lo Sony and Pioneer ni kottindi ledu India lo. All other products quality used to feel like road side cheap speakers and 10-20 years behind.

Such a sad downfall for them in 21st century.

Yes, but that market is eroding... They should have used it to get to EVs.

Remember Hollywood elites used to go to Oscars with Prius... Where are they ? 

They made prius ugly and refuse to move to EV...

What I hear is they refuse to acknowledge let alone ready for change.

My friend worked with one of the banks in Japan ... Their expectations on quality and documentation, processes, timelines are not sustainable for agile software development or compete with west . Totally gone case... Even India is far better
