Toyota and Honda are the next Motorola and Nokia. They used to be great reliable cars now they are pedda latkor boring cars with no upgraded tech.

Toyota sold 2 million cars last year in US.. and many of them are hybrids.. not everyone can buy an electric car especially people living in apartments or houses with no garages.. most people prefer hybrids.. despite the amount of news it generates, electric cars sold last year are just around 5-6% of the total cars sold in US.. also you are ignoring the sales of Toyota in the other countries..

for comparison, they sold 10.5 million cars last year in all the countries..

last year they sold only 47k priuses and since 2017 they have been on the downtrend, previously they sold 350k priuses annually

Earlier Prius was the only hybrid model.. now pretty much every car model from Toyota has a hybrid variant.. even Lexus models too.. they pretty much make only hybrid variants of some models now, like Sienna..
