Can we buy agricultural land in India on GC?

i know nris or oci can buy commercial and residential properties

for raitu bandu u might have provided Aadhar and PAN which doesnt verify your NRI status unless someone orders for audit based on complaint

Big comedy ra babu ... non-citizens of india cannot buy agriculture land period.

Inheritance lo adhi kuda transfer ayithundi.

no issues to agriculture land if you buy it before becoming citizen of another country.

Simple topic got complicated:

there are only 2 categories NRI(still Indian Citizen) & OCI(Indian Citizen took Foreign citizenship). NRI can buy any property in India, OCI can inherit any property from parents and buy Residential and commercial properties on OCI. There is no problem if the OCI holder bought some agriculture properties before taking the foreign citizenship, He can still keep them.
