I could be (hope?) wrong....but naaku enduko papa missing ni parents GC/Citizenship kosam vaadukuntunnaremo anipisthondhi baa...ikkada pillalu antha em aalochincharu...chinchinaa edho friends tho open up etc. chesthaaru kaani itta paariporu..they know better...and aame ikkade pudithe she knows noone can peekify anything..special needs kid annaru, mundu aaame ni vethakakunda...naa job poyindhi...naa H1B ayipothondhi..naaku GC ivvandi ani gola endho...another Sunaina Dumala in making??

Ledu vaa.. teenage kids undi, GC ki chala time patte prathi home lo ni idi common discussion… I have a friend/colleague who has two daughters, both in high school… visa extension apply chesinapudu, job poyinapudu idi compulsory discussion as they want to prepare the kids.. it ends up with the kids crying…

I think we all don’t understand unless we are in the same situation..

Teenagers intlo nunchi paripovadam chala regular ga jaruguddi US lo… not so much in desi families..  look at the missing child photos in any Walmart.. this is so common that no one even talks about it.. just bcoz this is an Indian girl, this got more publicity in desi media and chat forums..
