We are planning to buy Tesla Model Y ( 7 seater ) , is it better to go with FSD or basic auto pilot is ok

also I heard about subscription plan for auto pilot as needed, I don’t see any option when ordering ? How does that work out

FSD monthly subscription teesuko baa avasaram ayuthe

and 7 seater for model Y is a bad idea.. I would rethink about it

7 seater is useless.... paper weight lekka kooda use avvadu tarvata..... Just get a 5 seater config..... Model Y is not a real crossover..... Model 3 frame ne konchem modify chesadu anthe.

I am not comfortable trusting self driving, so I picked basic auto pilot. The place I live is mostly hilly and single roads and not sure how good is self driving for my driving condition.

If you don't care about $15K and want to try something new, that is for you. It is non-transferrable and I heard some insurance companies will not pay in case something goes wrong(I could be wrong, but read some posts on FB regarding insurance coverage).

third-row seating has limited leg room and can only accommodate kids.

Good luck!

Only reason to buy FSD now is to include in loan.

I would suggest against FSD outright purchase because:
You can subscribe on an on-need basis.
Tesla ran holiday promos to buy FSD at discounted rates.
In case of car crash or totaled scenarios - insurance wont cover FSD cost as that is considered an add-on.

Where is the FSD subscription , I can’t see it on website , I want to go for subscription as I am not sure how long we will keep the car

You don't need any. Especially no to FSD - such a trash and you want to pay 10k+ ?

You can subscribe for a month later and see for yourself

For long drives, you just need auto pilot ... It's auto cruise + lane change. I argue all we need is auto cruise which many started  offering for free
