Out of the blue, a melodious chime resonates in the quiet of her day – her phone screen lights up, revealing the caller ID to be none other than the esteemed director of a movie she had previously collaborated with. This director had been her partner in the creation of a remarkable web series that artfully delved into the intricate web of religious crimes that had scarred the Indian subcontinent. The series had struck a resonant chord with audiences, skyrocketing to become a bona fide sensation.

Amidst the euphoria of the past success, the director's voice spills forth from the phone, brimming with enthusiasm and intrigue. It turns out that the director, buoyed by the web series' triumphant reception, is now captivated by the idea of crafting a sequel that would further unravel the intricate tapestry of these gripping narratives. The proposal is tantalizing, a new chapter beckoning to be written, a continuation of a journey that had started with a creative spark.

In the cozy enclave of her creative sanctuary, she nestles into her favored writing spot – a table adorned with the tools of her trade and a steaming cup of coffee that lends warmth to her endeavor. With the soft hum of productivity in the background, she immerses herself in her craft, words flowing as her fingers dance across the keyboard. Seeking to ignite the muse, she invokes Alexa to summon a symphony of melodies, a harmonious backdrop to her creative odyssey.

Yet, as the digital notes intertwine with the rhythm of her typing, an unexpected intrusion disrupts her solitude. Disjointed sounds and curious noises begin to emanate from the surroundings, casting an unexpected spell of disarray upon her peaceful sanctuary. Amidst this auditory labyrinth, two distinct voices emerge from the auditory haze – a security guard's authoritative intonation and an oddly familiar neighbor's voice, imbued with a mixture of emotions.

Perplexed but undeterred, she hones her focus, endeavoring to decipher the veiled conversation that she has unwittingly eavesdropped upon. The puzzle pieces begin to assemble gradually, forming a narrative mosaic. As the jigsaw gains shape, the pieces seem to coalesce into an astonishing revelation – the neighboring voice belongs to none other than the wife of her husband's employer, a person with whom they've had social interactions marked by a veneer of professional congeniality.

The tendrils of suspicion begin to coil around her thoughts, sparked by the peculiar timing of this clandestine dialogue. Could there be an affair concealed behind the innocuous façade? With the patience of a detective piecing together a perplexing case, she contemplates the implications of this newfound knowledge. A tangled web of implications and consequences unfurls before her, weaving a narrative as intricate as the stories she's woven in her creative pursuits.

In the backdrop of this unfolding drama, her writing endeavors continue – the sequel she is penning bears an eerie resemblance to the enigmatic intrigue that now surrounds her. As she delves into the fictional world of her creation, the lines between her own reality and the stories she crafts blur, mirroring the convoluted tapestry of human relationships and the secrets they harbor.

In the end, surrounded by the remnants of her musings and the lingering echoes of those overheard voices, she finds herself grappling with two tales – one born from her imagination, and the other an unexpected narrative thread that has woven itself into the fabric of her life.

This is a beautiful world, as it narrates itself through the serene beach road of Vizag. It seems to say that even amidst the simple surroundings, a story unfolds.

In this picturesque setting, Sarala is engrossed in conversation with her dear friend, who is none other than Manoj. Their thoughts meander as they sit side by side, enjoying the pleasant atmosphere in the vicinity of her mother's house. Sarala's mind is occupied by the scenarios they discuss.

Manoj, whose full name is Manoj, serves as the chief engineer in a mining company. Interestingly, his venture operates in the village adjacent to Sarala's residence. He is managing his enterprise there.

Gradually, Manoj became engrossed in the demanding responsibilities of his business. After completing his MBA at Gitam College in a span of a few years, he decided to move from Vizag to Hyderabad.

As circumstances would have it, his company established its main office in Hyderabad. This paved the way for Manoj to excel in his career, eventually gaining the position of a manager. One day, his superior suggested that if he was interested in someone for the position of an officer on his team, he was welcome to recommend them.

Manoj, without hesitation, responded with, "Oh yes, why not, sir?" The excitement in his voice was evident.

However, Sarala had no desire to move to Hyderabad.

Although she was an engineering graduate, she didn't show much interest in pursuing business or a career. Instead, she exhibited a keen fascination with the market, observing every gadget that came her way.

Automation had become an integral part of her home – her car would automatically unlock its gates as it approached, and a simple command to Alexa would turn on the lights. The drip system for watering plants would activate when she instructed Alexa to water them. And a robovac was at her disposal to maintain cleanliness. It was during a discussion about these aspects that Manoj put forth an idea – how should he present the idea of moving to Hyderabad?

To convince her, he arrived at her house bearing chicken biryani and gulab jamun – her favorites. Her parents inquired about their departure plans, and amidst the meal, Manoj praised her for making him the focal point of her life. Sarala responded with irritation, "You have found joy in living your life as you wish, why should I object? But still, out of anger, she grabbed a handful of chicken biryani from her plate and left the dining room. She placed the plate with chicken biryani in her dog's bowl and headed to her bedroom.

Sarala did not show any interest in coming to Hyderabad, but Manoj had other plans.

He tried to convince her, and it was with his mother's advice that he finally succeeded. Manoj's supervisor, Akhil, also known as the officer on Manoj's team, had been living in Hyderabad with his family for some time.

In the same apartment complex, lives another family – Roja, Akhil's wife, and their children are yet to join them. Manoj suggested that they rent the flat beside theirs. "Well, if we live in the same apartment complex, then I can always help you, right?" he remarked.

However, there was one aspect he didn't disclose – his apartment complex was new, heavily guarded, and equipped with cameras everywhere. Since Sarala was settling in, they didn't have much furniture yet. She had just moved in with a few moving boxes, and they agreed to set up things gradually.

One day, Sarala was unpacking a box containing electronics. She decided to test her new Alexa device – setting it up to play Ilaiyaraaja's songs. But unexpectedly, she started hearing voices in the background. Strangely, she couldn't understand the words. Soon, she realized that the voices were from a conversation happening somewhere.

She gradually tuned in and began to understand the conversation. It turned out to be the security guard and the neighbor talking. To her surprise, the neighbor was none other than the wife of Manoj's boss. She believed they were having an affair.

Sarala began to narrate stories about Hyderabad with an uninterested expression. But Manoj intervened, pointing out that he had many responsibilities there. Eventually, her mother suggested that she should consider moving, and that's when Sarala began to contemplate the idea.

Meanwhile, Manoj had been working diligently at the Hyderabad office. His team's manager was impressed with his work and proposed him for a promotion. Manoj's hard work had paid off, and he soon became a manager. This led him to make the decision to move to Hyderabad permanently.

The idea of moving to Hyderabad didn't interest Sarala at all. However, as time passed, her mother's words echoed in her mind. Eventually, Sarala succumbed to the idea and started preparing to make the move. She packed up her belongings and said goodbye to the place that had been her home for so long.

Sarala had always been passionate about writing thriller and crime stories. Some of her stories had been turned into podcasts, and some had even been used as episodes in a crime show. Although she was finding it difficult to adjust to life in Hyderabad, her passion for storytelling never wavered.

One of the things that kept Sarala going during her time in Hyderabad was her love for listening to Ilaiyaraaja melodies. She often turned to these melodies to find solace in the midst of her busy days.

Then, one day, she received an unexpected call. It was from the director of a movie she had worked with before. They had collaborated on a web series that explored various religious crimes in India, and the series had been a massive hit. The director wanted to create a sequel, and Sarala was thrilled by the opportunity.

Sitting at her desk with a cup of coffee in her hand, Sarala began to write. She instructed Alexa to play some songs in the background to set the mood. However, as she immersed herself in her writing, she started to hear strange noises and disturbances from the surroundings. Amidst the cacophony, two distinct voices emerged. Gradually, she realized that the voices belonged to the security guard and the neighbor. To her surprise, the neighbor turned out to be the wife of her husband's boss.

Listening carefully, Sarala deduced that they were having an affair. This unexpected revelation added a new layer of intrigue to her day, reminding her of the crime stories she loved to write. As she continued to write, she couldn't help but draw parallels between her fictional narratives and the unfolding drama in her real life.
