AreyOSamba Posted March 16, 2023 Report Share Posted March 16, 2023 Plan was to have a city that can become a mega city in the future that could attract a lot of investments. The thought of having Amaravathi is that eventually both Guntur and Vijayawada will be merged into becoming a Mega City. In addition to that there is plenty of water and equidistant to all corners of the state. Siva Ramakrishnan committee suggested pretty much the same..
