Technology is evolving. Previously many companies used to host the services by themselves and used to have workforce to do. Now with cloud, they just need 10% workforce to do it.

there is no way companies are going to survive in the current world with previous model.
everyone is expected to wear multiple hats at job.

developer paristhiti…swiss knife kante daarunam aipoindhi…

he should know ui, backend, clouds and containers, end to end testing, communication skills, business skills…etc…

factory workers are better…they do have one skill and one job…and they are unionized…

sometimes i wonder what people managers do if there is no enough people to manage..?

I blame this on agile methodology which created hyper visibility of work and team. On the plus side  max job safety developers ke undhi.

People managers aney concept ey sodhi. Managers should always do technical contributions.
meta is planning to convert lot of mgrs into IC’s for the same reason.

actually developers doing everything is not bad. It actually removes lot of redundancy. 10 years back okka chinna feature release cheyyaniki kooda one months to months pattedhi.  Ui team dependancy, backend team, qa team, release team and list goes on. With developers driving the entire project end to end, lot of time is saved and features can be shipped in fast pace
