Property ki tax enduku brother? Me US lo idem daridram

In US property tax is used for running local schools, city/county maintainance and development works.

Usually zip codes with higher property taxes can afford better teachers & facilities for schools.

New jersey ia ranked number #2 in tax rate , it's a sh*thole. Idk why many desi people prefer to live there

Jobs r pretty good there And salary is also decent. Agreed property tax is bit more  but it’s mini India 😉

it’s hard to get out of NJ - I can feel it now 😌😌😌

That's why indian public infrastructure is just garbage , everything is pooled to the state govt. Local govt's have very little control

The local taxes are very important for the upkeep of public schools

I personally feel MA/CT is even much worse bro than NJ - cost of living is too high.

It’s called toilet bowl of NY for a reason

Most of the people see only parts of NJ along US1 and US 27 entering NY and around EWR, that's why people call it so(mostly because of its industrial past and nation's second largest port). That is not all of NJ, except NE part of the state its really green and beautiful. Yes the infrastructure is old but every town in NJ has distinctive characteristic its own little downtown(with lots of local flavors), some other New England states are similar as well.

One thing I personally observed is people come to Jersey City esp. Journal Square and start judging, Every major city have lot worse neighborhoods than that(not even close) but the difference is desis don't live there because they are not economically vibrant etc. Take a train to downtown of JC, Its better and vibrant than major cities like Houston, LA and Dallas, its very expensive as well(1B1B can set you back upto 5k pm)

Cost of living tho polisthe ponthane ledu. Ikkada average schools ye better than best schools in other states. TOP universities lo admissions choosethe NJ representation ekkuva states chinna state ayina. Best educated work force kuda NJ lone undi. Edo NY choodataaniki vachi NJ lo desi street chosesi impression pettukunte adi avivekame.

yes, property taxes are a lot since house prices increased a lot in last 3 years.

but, still people calculate income tax savings compared to other states and see overall its benefit them..

similarly no income tax states could say, wow!! why. you are wasting money on income tax oh my god, go to a diff state 😊

Even if both are working and save on state tax, we need to pay more than 5k kada brother. Which is still high.
