I worked for multiple projects actually federal both had different experience one was with leidos for DoD adi chala hard unde managing both leidos team and dod team and also reporting status backn nforth working both legacy project along with drawing parallel architecture..

 

Other was direct federal contract few years back when most thongs were legacy very easy going but flipside goverment budget cut ante u are out ..most likely

Depends on the agency baa, some are chill some are challenging. It all depends on the implementation project, I work for a Department of Energy project and it's pretty good. Meetings avi baane untayi but so far funding and budget no issues, flip side is that the pay might get stagnant. But that's not an issue if you learn and move on. 

Doing one Federal contract helps you get others, as usually they try to hire people that have previous experience with a Federal contract before. I mainly joined so I could get experience working on Gov cloud, as I worked on Gov Cloud in my previous project with another state govt dept(Azure Gov cloud). This one we are using AWS more but in combination with Azure, as usually Federal Govt depts don't like to depend on just one Cloud provider. 

It is what you make out of it.
