There is valid ground for reservation in private sector: BJP

New Delhi: The recommendations of a central panel for 27 percent reservation for OBCs in private sector jobs on Tuesday evoked favourable reactions from parties with the ruling BJP noting it can be done after creating a conducive atmosphere.

Welcoming the recommendations of National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC), BJP spokesperson Bizay Sonkar Shastri said there is "valid ground" for reservation in private sector but it can be provided only after creating a conducive atmosphere and it "should not be imposed."

It is only justified when SC/STs are given priorities in private sector jobs in India in proportion to their population. Only then they can be uplifted from oppression. I think by 2029, we will have reservations for BCs/SC/STs in private sector too.

Ambedkar alane anukoni reservations ichadu … now after 70 years still oppression. Ippudu private lo ichi Inko 100 years still oppressed undi appudu em antaroo. Private lo reservation ante - indirect ga govt funding untadi to the companies that hire reserved candidates. Basically upper casts - country lo undali bathkaaali ante no discrimination towards lower casts-  else get out of motherland ani hint.
