just my thoughts for decent Single Family home keeping Schools/Area in mind -

NORTH:

Cabarrus County/Concord/Davidson ki 600-650s

Harrisburg ki Upto 550-600s

Huntersville - 500-550s

SOUTH

Mint Hill/Indian Trial - Upto 500s

Ballantyne/Weddington- 700-800s

India Land/Waxhaw - 650-700s

I visited Charlotte and roads in the Concord, Davidson are narrow they don’t even have buffer. at least Harrisburg and Indian trail is better in accessibility to things. Concord lo only 1 set of elementary, middle and high schools are good rest of them are average. with MI homes, Pulte and Ryan building in that area there will be at least few hundres kids more for each school, can those schools accommodate the strength

Rezoning will come into effect this year and many kids were assigned to neighbouring schools. There are two elementary schools with high rating and a new K-12 charter school will start this year.

Will rezoning have any effect on house prices? So folks buying due to schools might get new schools allocated which might not have high rating?

I don’t think so… rezoning lo vachina new schools kuda no that bad. old school 10 rating aeithe new school is like 7 rating. And not all grades are rezoned, some communities elementary school is rezoned and some middle school.
