Comedians roast the celebrities, which is very common in the west.. they make fun of them in the name of comedy.. there was one comedian that actually posed with a severed and bloodied trump’s head as a joke.. 

it wasn’t that good of a joke anyway.. more like a poor joke.. initially will smith was okay.. but his wife was not happy and that upset him.. they were already going through the scandal that broke out about her hooking up with her son’s friend..

Yes, he was laughing initially . I think it's a knee jerk reaction with all the baggage he is carrying with "open" relationship... Even USA is not ready for a celebrity couple to be like that openly - there are even more wilder things go behind the scenes.
