ఆ సమయంలో మోహన్ బాబు జీవితంలో ఎదగాలంటే మరింతగా కష్టపడాలని ఎక్కువ సినిమాల్లో నటించే వారట. అలా సినిమాల్లో బిజీ కావడంతో సమయానికి ఇంటికి వచ్చేవారు కాదట. దీంతో భార్య విద్యాదేవిని కూడా ఆయన సరిగా పట్టించుకునే వారు కాదు. పిల్లలను కూడా పట్టించుకునేందుకు ఆయనకు తీరిక ఉండేది కాదట. ఆ సమయంలో ఇద్దరి మధ్య గొడవలు జరగడంతో క్షణికావేశంలో విద్యాదేవి బలవన్మరణానికి పాల్పడ్డారు. ఆ సమయంలో విష్ణు- లక్ష్మీ ఇద్దరూ కూడా చిన్న పిల్లలు.వాళ్ళకు తల్లి లేని లోటు తీర్చాలని దాసరి నారాయణ రావు లాంటి పెద్దలు జోక్యం చేసుకొని విద్యాదేవి చెల్లి నిర్మలాదేవితో మోహన్ బాబుకు రెండో వివాహం జరిపించారు. వీరి తనయుడు మంచు మనోజ్.
