Touring is not tool to get power mate. He toured in 1989 elections also. But the same people who voted in 1983 for him, asked not to come to their villages following the murder of VM Ranga in 1988. He also toured in Aug,1995.

His final tour started in Jan,1996...ultimately finished his tour on the same month.

N.B:- CBN has never been tough competitor for anyone. He won 2 times when opposition was not so strong. In fact anyone who contests against him will have easy ride.
