Situation what? 1$ for 100$ or all gone in the wind

looks like penny for dollars now —

experts throw some light — what happens if same thing happen with other big companies?

Someone will buy it for less than $300 million is my guess.

WaMu and Wachovia were valued at $100 billion each and got sold for $1 billion each to Chase and Well Fargo in 2008. Both banks had $2 trillion assets

Lets wait for experts who had experience in these type of situations - or who went through this situation in 2008

The bank is being liquidated not sold to anyone

monday morning all accounts will be paid upto 250k cash

above that amount bonds istaru

Salaries , rents etc.. will be paid

share holders comes last- zero

then the account holder bonds will be paid in ratio with leftover cash

that bank is closed and done

lawsuit vestaru it will be settled eventually but shares are almost sunna

That’s not how that works. It is not some retail store to liquidate assets. Assets anni long term untayi like loans, bond investments etc. they will get someone big enough to assume all these assets and liabilities. In case there is no one to buy it that is worst case scenario where they sell the bonds and loans to recover the money, selling them early will only make the situation bad

WaMu had $307 billion assets, $188 billion deposits, and over 2,300 branches in fifteen states when it failed. All got sold to Chase for $1.9 billion. Stock went from $13 to $2.  WaMu also failed simalrily when people rushed to withdraw $16 billion in 10 days and there was liquidity crunch and finally FDIC took over
