Here Is Why HC Gets Serious On Avinash Reddy

The High Court of Telangana has reserved its verdict on Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy vs CBI case related to YS Viveka’s murder. The High Court today stated that it has reserved its judgement and hence asked the CBI to not arrest YS Avinash Reddy till the judgement is pronounced.

Earlier, Avinash Reddy had moved the High Court and sought stay order on his possible arrest by the CBI. Avinash Reddy appealed to the court to direct the CBI officials to video-record his examination by them. The High Court had directed the CBI officials to not arrest Avinash Reddy till Monday. It also reserved its verdict on Avinash Reddy’s appeal to stay the further investigation.

Meanwhile, the CBI officials informed the court about its suspicion on MP Avinash Reddy’s role behind the wiping off the crucial evidence in YS Viveka’s brutal murder. The CBI provided the details of investigation of Avinash Reddy to the court in a sealed cover. The details included 10 documents, 35 recorded statements of witnesses and some pictures.

Meanwhile, HC gets serious on Avinash Reddy over his press conference outside the CBI office. The court asked why he conducted a press meet while the matter is being investigated by the court. The court also asked the CBI on YS Bhaskar Reddy’s examination. The court asked why Bhaskar Reddy was called to attend the investigation in Kadapa when the case was transferred to Hyderabad. The CBI informed the HC that it hadn’t asked Bhaskar Reddy to attend in Kadapa.
