80 crores ante $10 million.. not a big amount to spend in Hollywood.. they may have spent even more.. 

They worked with Variance films for PR and rerelease of the movie.. they might have got some amount back from the re release.. they showed it to as many ppl as they can.. but they cannot avoid inherent bias.. 

they targeted for more categories and they were able to get only one nomination for the song… India nominate chesi unte, foreign movies category lo vachedi emo.. they had to fight with much bigger films from more reputed film makers.. 

Any film maker or actor will want more ppl to watch his movie.. I think SSR/RCT/NTR achieved that and made a name for themselves..
