Bro, WTF is this? Here in the UK, the national min wage is set at around £10 but its impossible to get good workers at that rate. So most branded businesses like Tesco, ASDA, M&S, for example pay at least £12-15 per hour. Plus add 10% extra as holiday pay. If the shift is night one or inside the Prime business locations of London, it goes up to £20 per hour. The only people who get lesser than £10 PH are our Telugu Tejams who go and surrender their everything to get more than 20 hours per week(20 hour per week is the limit mandated by Visa Office for foreign students). For Indian students, business owners will pay £5-6 per hour after 20 hours per week limit is breached.

USA seems like a fcuked up option for those unfortunate immigrants who still are paid 7-8 USD

Vallaku wages penchite inka desham sanka naki potadi - no one will study or work hard. Just like unemployment gets more money than working at minimum wages. Just like if banks offer more interest, no one will study or work - they will just live off the interest on their principal and remain as illiterates. Just like if you commit a crime, you end up in jail eating shitty food but if punishments are lessened it will result in more crimes. There is a reason for everything including why minimum wages stay minimum. Don't question or challenge the law-makers like you know more than they do.

Not everyone has wasted their learning years and there are exceptions but majority of these folks could not make it in America that offers a lot of opportunity for hard work. Especially those who are born, raised and educated here and still end up working at McDonalds, we have no respect for them.

Appudu Inflation 15% ki velludi without illegals....... This country is literally nothing without cheap immigration. US is a another Japan without immigration. 

As long as there are poor countries around the world.... US will keep attracting best minds from these places and survive.

US has created perfect infrastructure and system for individuals who have good ideas..... India and China lo inko 20 years ayyina they will not match US in this. But numbers are on China and India side. The startup culture is exploding in both countries

These are federal minimum wages. Each state has its own min wage. Most blue states already crossed 10 and some even went upto $15. Yerrachandanam states lo maathram inka 7.25$ ae. Mississippi lanti states lo still thy pay 7.25.
