Bro, the elections are for 3 graduate constituencies , 2 teacher constituency and 6 or 7 Mla quota. The 3 grad. Constituncy elections is spread across 9 districts (old) and 110 mla constituencies. This gave a good vote sample (7k per constituency) across these constituencies unlike the party biased surveys. As this is generic grad constituency polls, the electorate is spread across various sections of people. Even in pulivendula, tdp got almost 2x votes than ycp. They got 49% and yup 41%. That is why tdp is all excited.
