Self-driving cars are not going to solve the traffic problem. They actually make it worse as evident from this video where the manual drivers are blowing past the driverless car that got stuck!

Flying Cars are the future. Waiting for them...

Driving through SF downtown is a big mess even for experienced drivers, if they can solve the challenges it there and any other city is a cake walk

It is not about solving traffic problem but eliminate the driver and make taxi more cheaper, owning a car makes no sense if they can drive down the costs

they already running business cases like Walmart is using cruise to deliver your groceries without a driver

Yeah, we know that. Rich people have money but no time to sit and wait in a traffic jam. Elon Musk would not do that which is why he is digging underground transportation for commuters (Boring).

Would you buy a Flying Car at 100K (assuming they would bring down the costs) or a driverless car?

RPA is another one that does low-value, repetitive tasks and eliminates many jobs.

These cars are restricted to few parts of the city that are completely scanned and AI trained several times over

It would be hard to replicate it all over the country for now

They already launched in Austin and Phoenix.

it goes around full SF, they chose SF because of the difficulty in the terrain and find envy worst corner case traffic and regulations.
