Fugitive Amritpal Seeks UK Citizenship to Escape Indian Law: Intel Sources

Fugitive Khalistani separatist Amritpal Singh wants citizenship of the United Kingdom, top intelligence sources have told CNN-News18.

The Waris Punjab De leader had applied for British citizenship in February, they added.

This is on the basis of his marriage with Kiran Kaur, who is a UK citizen.

This is probably because the separatist understood the pressure and atmosphere building against him through local authorities and civil society, said officials.

He was discredited by the Sikh community and he wants a safe exit to the UK, they added.

Amritpal Singh leads Waris Punjab De, a radical organisation started by actor and activist Deep Sidhu, who died in a road accident in February last year.

He is linked to a massive protest on February 23 against the arrest of his key associate and kidnapping accused, Lovepreet Singh. Six policemen were injured during the clashes.

Amritpal claims to be a follower of Khalistani separatist and terrorist Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale, and his supporters call him “Bhindranwale 2.0".

Eedu iga UK poinatte…for considerable time, veedu elago jump jeelani type la musugu esukuni tiragadame. Asylum ledu padu ledu..

Eedu India la vundadame safe…UK, Canada kani pothe malla dukanam terustadu, as usual social media petukuni same agenda continue chestadu…arrest chesthe veedu hero ayitadu oka vargam ki and inviting unnessasary dissent from the community…

Oka fugitive ga jump jeelani lekka vundadame better…infact everytime cops come closer to nab him, intellegence sources should tip him off so that he can be on the run again.

Sometimes unconventional methods baaga pani chestayi…out the box solution.

I am sure UK will pay for it if repeats its past mistakes hosting/ignoring entities that act against India

AmritPalS is dead and all these rumors are just to ward off his death as absconding, he will never be visible again

Central Govt and Police are handling it well.

1 - if you arrest him or encounter him -> he will become a hero. -> so dont go that route.

2 - make him run, and let people realize he is not a person who can stand ground and fight for freedom. , escapist bhagoda...

already a mudra padipoindi vadi meeda, and his own supporters are saying...full security, bouncer la to tirigetodu..ippudu eluka la pargettadam enduku...dhairyanga longipote mem support chestunde ani...

next if he escapes to Canada, well and good..there will be no on-ground activity and cash inflows can be curbed...

back to old days how Khalisthanis were kept in control.

that does not stop them to fight anit india operations from Canada, it only delays the problem

what is they have actually encountered him but saying he escaped, it can have 2 purposes

1. he will appear as bhagoda

2. problem of him becoming B2.0 from CA/UK is done and dusted for all

BJP has been using Israeli strategies of eliminating problems once and for all. i believe it the same with AmrS as well

what if he is actually being backed by Soros funded operations, he will rise up again making it big from CA/UK

only good part is he cannot run them effectively from foreign country, but he can inspire locals to fight for him

Already Amritpal mida NSA Act pettinaru...So there is no way he can travel out of the country legally even though he is granted UK/Canada citizenship. UK-India has extradition elago vundi and this is the charge of highest degree so tappinchukuni paripoina handover cheyalsinde...unless he hides in country like Pakistan or Equador. Only option, Pakistan poi akadinundi paripovadame...

Naaku kuda ide jaringindemo anipistundi...he might be in custody already if not sources are aware of his movements...no one will ever see his face again. Shoot to kill and make the body disappear, no paper trail neither any record and Amritpal Singh's missing case will be recorded as fugitive on the run since March 2023.

In my view, Amritpal is now a done deal. Even if he is caught or reaches UK/CA, his cover is now fully blown and he is of no use for any kind of propaganda.

But then again, Amritpal is just the face. It was Deep Sandhu and now it is Amritpal. Someone else will take Amritpal's place now and continue doing the same, brainwash on social media, ransack temples and high commission offices, fund the protests in India, learn from the mistakes and initiate Khalsa 2.1. In the 80's, these orgs did not had fund and set up and had to depend on anti India sources for funds and weapons.  But now, the community is pretty wealthy and wields substantial community power in a few countries and it's now very easy for them to fund the operations and that's the concern.
