As part of sustainability,  wfh is the best option to reduce the carbon emissions rate on the planet. It is also helping companies to save money on the real estate. I'm seeing more wfh requirements than ever before and the trend is here to stay. we will eventually be connected to a virtual platform like metaverse to promote the virtual work.

Twitter CEO Elon Musk reportedly sent a notice to staff early Wednesday morning to remind them that working from home is not acceptable.

According to Platformer managing editor Zoë Schiffer, Musk emailed employees at 2:30 in the morning, writing that "office is not optional." In the email, he complained that half of the San Francisco headquarters was empty the day before.

Musk is not a fan of remote work. Back in November, he ended Twitter's work-from-home accommodations, telling employees within driving distance of the office that they needed to show up in person or consider their "resignation accepted."

Last summer, he sent a similar note to his employees at Tesla, telling employees they were required to spend a minimum of 40 hours in the office per week. "Remote work is no longer acceptable," was the subject line of that email.

It’s also helping companies to shut down as well .. 80% of companies ki wfh workout kadu.. there will be decisions that needs to be taken in person which gets delayed bcuz of wfh and that can cause lot of issues , if u compare pandemic wfh jobs vs now.. it has gone down a lot! Very few wfh, of course if you compare before pandemic vs now rate is still high

If the companies are not performing well or shutting down, blame it on the management who cannot manage their workers properly. There are many companies with wfh even before the pandemic and they are still managing it well.  Contractor 2-3 jobs chesthunte what is the manager doing ? chethulaki gajulu vesukunnada ?

That’s also One of the reason they are asking to come back to work!

Ego

1b is walk out of contract but that's with lot of conditions. He wrote a very stupid contract where it's not easy to get out.

Also, his loose tongue already costed him a lot and twitter can easily drag him to court and force him to buy - basically Twitter and argue saying he is trying to violate the contract...

It's 1b anymore.

+ Ego. He has confidence to turn it to profit as he has done with other companies.

Yeah..

Free speech,  humanity, greater good, climate change etc are all used by the billionaires these days very loosely, with ultimate goal of making more money.
