LAYOFFS, Economy..etc anevi nee chetullo levu...so worrying about those things doesn't solve anything...

 

what is really in your hand and you can literally control is....

- Tech upgrade - (learn new courses/topics be prepare for competitive job market)

- Health - (do workout)

- Expenses - (reduce)

- Be aware of day to day news...

join a witch company as FT and survive for next 2-3 yrs

stop comparing with other and not spend a penny more than you needs

even if  pay is less, survive first in a job to fight another day

This entire year will see projects being re-evaluated, cloud vs on prem, upgrades etc

all those people who survived 2008 did it because their monthly expenses were low, it may not be true this time with desis spending heavily on mortgage as if there is no tomorrow

do not commit on any large spending, rent if your PD is 2016 and above

2008 saw most jobs being taken away by witch companies, even if one doesnt like to work with them, they wiill survive, this is good time to get best possible salary with Witches

6 months from now, they will be back to below 100K pay

Anna what you said is true I am in the market lot of witch companies offering 110k-130k salaries ani antunaru.

Within TX aiyte lot of ppl Mon-Thr Houston to DFW or atu ninchi itu or San Antonio ninchi DFW or other way round chese varu. All this before pandemic and before remote was a thing.

friend okadu last year dallas lo bough home for 900k and now manager is asking to return to office in SFO. he is now getting panicked
