This is how to check if your company is going to do layoff

Check if your company is going to do layoff. I came across this info online, I guess we are still not out of the woods, so thought to share with this group, hope it’s useful.

1. Search Your company HQ state + warn act in google. Ex: “Georgia warn act”

2. Go to the state’s .gov site in the search results and click on the monthly WARN report.

3. Check if your company has filed for layoffs. This filing must be done 60 days prior to layoffs. I hope it’s useful and gives 2 more months to prepare/job hunt.

P.S - Applies only for the companies with 100+ FT employees and if the severance is less than 60 days.

contractors are never employees of the company..they are like 3rd party weed in the organizations..use them to remove asap types..

I can see lots of lay off notice starts from may example Florida lo Walmart reported below but how would we know this is IT department ani ??
