Alright fine.

That is a good book, as a fiction. Initially everyone thought it was a true story too but later on reports and first hand accounts came up with a lot of those incidents being incidents he heard from other inmates, and some self exaggerated.

So it's still good as a fictional book, but can't consider it historically accurate.

true. Accuracy part is still questionable!

But the way it was documented needs to be appreciated. At some point one would easily understand which part is fictional as you mentioned.
