Ippudu oka API rest or soap nunchi data access cheyyali (read only ) in Aws environment . Does it have to go through API gateway ?

Api gateway is a different service aws provide .. if you are trying to make a call from ec2 or eks all you have to make sure your IG and SG is open enough to communicate to that endpoint..

I still don’t know if we can access it in the client network , preliminary design phase lo unnam so laying out all possible solutions. Thanks

Agree if it is internal , But somewhere in the chain some one said it’s external api

aite not only WAF...

@yemdoing  u need to have a Authorizer function as well, to make sure right client has access it...else u break the chain
