QA Tester * Web Applications

Immediate Contract Opening for manual QA tester with recent web application testing experience.


We are seeking a tester with current experience testing web based and client-server applications. This candidate must have experience in manual testing, preferably web-based testing, and be able to identify and catalog test requirements, develop and execute manual test cases and record unexpected results.

This team member will participate in formal and ad hoc system testing, regression testing, performance testing, and assists in developmental unit testing.

Qualified candidates will possess the following skills:
* 3+ years overall experience in software testing
* Experience in identifying and cataloging test requirements from business requirements (tracking test cases using Quality Center)
* Experience executing test cases and analyzing results
* Ability to identify, isolate and document system deficiencies in a clear, concise manner
* Familiarity with the software development lifecycle
* Capacity to multi-task several testing activities concurrently
* Effective analytical and problem isolation skills
* Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
