SpaceX’s Starship exploded a few minutes after launching an initial, uncrewed test flight on Thursday morning, the inaugural flight of a vehicle that Elon Musk wants to use one day for pioneering deep-space missions.

The company launched the rocket at roughly 9:30 a.m. ET from a launch pad in south Texas, according to a SpaceX livestream. A trail of flames poured out of the engines installed on the booster used for the first stage of the flight.

The rocket began to spin in the air not long after liftoff. The spaceship that was stacked on top of the vehicle’s massive booster didn’t separate from it. Soon after that, the vehicle exploded.

Elon musk and his SpaceX, Tesla Cars and Twitter all end up in dumps.

Somedays ago, Indians, especially Telugu Tejalu andharoo Tesla cars ni bikes konnattu kontunnaru ani veesina thread lo cheppanu, arei babu EV cars will not, in their present form and technology, replace ICTs .

Success maybe, excitement guaranteed!
Learned a lot for next test launch in a few months.

SpaceX is a private company.. this is not funded by NASA but only assisted by them..

Yes baa.. I am not campaigning at all. I am no way related to Stocks.

Just telling that American Technology is a myth... it never existed. Whatever America is now was built by European settlers. America is progressing only with technology purchased by DOLLAR power from Germany, other European Nations, South Korea and of course Japan.

Twitter and SpaceX are private companies.. whatever musk do with those companies, don’t have much financial impact to the general public..even if they close down, the loss is limited to musk and his friends who invested in those companies..

Tesla is highly profitable auto manufacturer.. aa cars desis matrame konadam ledu… if the prices are at par with other cars, it attracts more common buyers.. that’s what is happening with the price cuts..

In my view, EV’s and ICE (more hybrids) will coexist for a long time before they phase out.. EV’s will be used mostly for local drive and ICE/hybrid cars for long drives..

If Musk believes in something, he invests on it.. no one believed in Tesla or SpaceX before and they are very profitable now..

SpaceX satellite launches and Starlink profits are funding starship development… just as model S and X profits funded Model 3/Y development..

I doubt even if they can be used locally. Probably Southern part of USA and tropical countries are okay.

But Colder parts of the Globe like Northern USA, Canada, entire Europe, North China etc will have problems with battery efficiency. In winters, even the brand new Tesla car is loosing 20% of charging overnight. Battery life-cycle is very short. It soon needs to be replaced within 5-6 years.

And most importantly, the used-car market cannot accommodate these EV cars because there is no proper way to evaluate the battery-condition.

Plus electricity charges are sky-rocketing.
