By Sunil Bhat: Five Army jawans died after their vehicle caught fire in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch area on Thursday. The incident took place on a highway in the Bhata Dhurian area.

"Today, at about 1500 hours, one vehicle of the Indian Army, while moving from Bhimber Gali to Sangiot in district Poonch (J&K), caught fire," Public Relations Officer (Defence), Jammu, said.

"In this tragic incident five soldiers of the Indian Army have lost their lives," he said.

In a fresh statement on Thursday evening, the Indian Army confirmed that the incident was a terror attack. For the latest report, read full story

Got to see how Center reacts to this attack when G20 is near... More over this happened when army was checking the route for delicates to go around and see next month as they want to establish that everything is normal in Kashmir..

I'm sure security forces must be expecting such an attack, looks like a very crude attack...firing and hurling grenades does not appear to be a master planned attack, some rogues who had access to arms must have acted....Srinagar is practically under security blanket for months now. G20 meet on tourism kabati major areas cordoned off chesi safe areas ke access vundettu chestaru for the delegates and show everything is FINE in Kashmir. But its an interesting development and a challenge..

Many people in Kashmir praise and attend the funerals of terrorists who do suck attacks

Some of them are govt employees too and nothing happens to them. The day indian govt decides to deport these people to Pakistan is the day terrorism will start dying , otherwise it will keep happening as many people are fully indoctrinated into  jihad
