With Sitcoms, they make you really love the characters.. and rest of it is putting them in different situations and see how they behave and generate fun.. 

Sienfeld, Friends, Everybody loves Raymond, Big bang theory, Two and a half men, etc etc.. they have some very good and unique characters …
