Year back, one of my friends was offered 2cr in Mumbai  to setup a team in India due to delay in I-140. His pay was around $450K(approx 7 years exp.) in NYC. He rejected the offer and opted for London with an agreement to return to US this September(His I-140 is done now).

He works for a wall st. bank on trading floor and not a tech guy with a pedigree of top 3 schools in US and India. 

One of the reasons is that quality of work in US and India is not same not even close per se(at least on higher end jobs) and more over its easy to hit the bar in India.
