Not sure about your first question.

for your 2nd question, i'm in the process to get term insurance for 30 years with Agent. AFAIK, there is no difference in premium  with or without agent. Agent will help you understand terms and all.

when you can pay 100$ for a $hitty car, why think for 65$ for your own life.. risk mitigation is important for human and insurance does help, it is a good rate
