I spoke with a gentleman today who used to live in Virginia, he did his masters in 2015 in the USA, joined a consulting company -> got a job -> married his girlfriend -> a new house -> full-time job -> 2 kids. So far, it’s a typical master's student journey,
In 2021 end he started a YouTube channel about USA lifestyle content.  it was an instant click with trending topics and he got a good following and is guiding the people and sharing his experiences with the newbies.
In December 2022, he traveled to India for vacation, and parallel to the visa stamping, he dropped off the passport and hasn’t heard from Embassy in Delhi. Days are passing, Dec third week he dropped off his passport, January 3rd week got 221g to attend an interview. Attended the interview on March 2nd week. VO asked and took him to a separate room, with 2 counselor officers and one Indian-originated lady. Good cop- bad cop for sometime. 
Finally, they started questioning his little project on YouTube, they took a clip from one of the videos about “Master’s Life in the USA”. There he shared some true incidents he had seen. There was a discussion about his first consulting job experiences. And the percentage of pay discussion. And took the same statement in writing from him.
Finally, on May 2nd he got an email from the Embassy saying the application was sent for revocation of his application and banning him for 5 years to enter in USA. And his consulting got NOIR for the employee-employer relationship. And this gentleman was found guilty of a pay-for-employment basis arrangement.
Even though his intentions of sharing with people are good, someone took this to DHS and USCIS and reported that video. Now he is currently fighting. With DHS clearing the ban. I wish him the best. And advise you to THINK BEFORE WHAT YOU SHARE ON SOCIAL MEDIA. PEOPLE ARE WATCHING YOUR ACTIVITIES.
