They already have ..don't blame bank managers or local branches..any large transactions and black to white was done at distribution levels where checks and balances are not done... Not at your local branches, even a 10,000 illegal conversion will be caught ..but not at distribution levels..before they enter them in to sysytem..there they get arrested during audit.. the problem is with huge distribution banks that are under control of chairman level individuals..these chairmans are usually government besties and they do whatever they ask for..adani loans ko vellali ichedhi kooda veele  ..that is where scam happens.

Rs 2000 note ban anedi eppati nuncho unna rumor....Adi ippudu implement chesaru. People r not keeping Rs 2000 notes at home. Only blow is for politicians who want to distribute notes to people. Real Estate will be hard hit too! Also may be Karnataka elections effect anukunta. May be BJP observed then opposition parties distributing Rs 2000 denominations!

The Reserve Bank of India has decided to withdraw the 2000 denomination banknotes from circulation but they will continue to remain as legal tender. It has advised banks to stop issuing 2000 denomination banknotes with immediate effect.

It is not banned.it will be still legal tender.People misread most things

This itself is enough to trigger the panic and now most of the Business will not allow 2000 notes which is almost as good as invalid note
