23 year old Andhra woman drowns to death in Bengaluru underpass

just 2 to 3 cm rain ,  car was stranded in the flooded underpass. She couldn't get out of the back seat and drowned 

What a horrible way to die , she just joined Infosys last year and was showing her parents around Bengaluru when this happened 

The prices in the area are higher than most major cities in USA

They are new to Banglore..they just travelled there for first time and they assumed underpass was not full .just puddle of water and drive straight in to it.. Banglore municipality  workers should have blocked the road in time..this disaster wouldn't have happened.

In certain parts of the country, especially terrain and plateau areas, underpasses are really dangerous. They are good as long as they are good but in such conditions like heavy rain, it barely takes few mins for the underpass to get flooded. 

Hyd lo kuda konni underpasses kattinaru...heavu rain apudu those underpasses are closed. I personally experienced aram ghar katedan underpass on a day when it rained heavily and it was filled with 8-10 feet of water and traffic was stopped from sides and it took couple of days for the rainwater to drain...

This is not a natural disaster , it's just 2-3 cm of rain 🤦‍♀️
