For beginners :

 

Step 1: Getting a MC license endorsement.  Easiest way is to go for a test drive in nearest dmv with your friends bike.

Alternate way is to register for a school in advance, search "new rider motorcycle school near me". Average cost will be between 400$ to 600$ for a 2-day class and permit + test. You need to pass the test at school itself, no need to reschedule an exam and test. But you need online 4 hour test registration from Online Learning - Motorcycle Safety Foundation (msf-usa.org) The fee will cover the class, no need to pay seperately.

 

Step 2: Buy a DOD approved gear for the motor cycle training. Also there are special private classes for 1000$, harley rider course etc if you want to go for advanced skill level.

 

Step 3: take the letter provided by school to DMV and get your license endorsed. MC will appear on your existing 4 wheeler class D license.

The average motorcycle prices range from 10,000$ - 15,000$. Best way to start is to buy a used motorcycle from a dealer who approved it of no drops, dents, accidents.

• 6′ (182cm) and taller: 40″ seat height
• 5’10” (178cm) tall: 36″ to 39″ seat height
• 5’8″ (172cm) tall: 33″ to 35″ seat height
• 5′ 6″ (167cm) tall: 30″ to 32″ seat height
• 5′ to 5’5″ tall: anywhere from 28″ to 30″ seat height

 

Insurance:

Insurance depends on type of vehicle. Sports motorcycle insurance are high ..

thanks to Kawasaki.. best beginner sports bike ninja 400.. sold in thousands ... 400 cc bike.

for a person 5 5'" and 5 8" ninja is a perfect bike and it comes with abs however dont expect traction control. Also you dont want to start a bike that is too high seating position and bigger..

This bike is very forgiving at beginner's mistake.

Benelli 302s for 3400$ base price, 300cc italian street fighter, naked bike made in china.. you can get a straight pipe but not enogh power to ride on freeway

usually these are very heavy.. tall and come with larger capacity. THe one below is benelli trk 502 .. italian motorcycle but now owned by chinese.. 6000$ 500cC long comfortable ride.. 463 pounds of weight..

lighter by 100 pounds , but simillar price range

Enfiled and cfmoto both are huge hit however parts are hard to find.. american buyers look for parts avialablility.. non kit motorcylce addons and accessories are picking up.

delarships need to expand for royal enfield.. 

CFMOTO found its huge presence in american market now.. however engine and clutch issues are common for cfmoto. CFMOTO ATV and 3 wheelers are very popular.. made in china
