Does the week start on Sunday or Monday?

The gregorian calendar or christian calendar that we follow today across the world, the week starts with Sunday. Since the christians worship on sunday, they made the work days starting from Monday to Saturday. Since jews worship on Saturday and called saturday as no work day and eventually they became the big business heads across the globe off late, to avoid the conflict they(both) resolved and made Sat & Sun as holidays.

so per the calendar we're following now, Sunday is the first day of the week and Saturday is the seventh day.

Monday is the first working day of the week, not the first calendar day of the week!!!
