Top reasons : white rice and too much sugar in diet.

 

We are number 2 in heart as Chinese people are heavy smokers..otherwise andulo kooda number 1. 

Basically 100 years ago we had most healthy diet..

And then White rice... Refined atta, over consumption of sugar happend..our Asian genes is not made for too much carbs and sugar ..our diet was primary contained 60% fiber 30% fiber 10 % protein.. now it's 90% carbs 5% fiber 5% fired meat

Basically in 1950s sugar has become a very cheap substance..so in all food products it is easy to add sugar and price it up ..

Qq, If white rice is a primary reason for diabetics patient raise in India then why was it not that high in the past? Ipati kante old days lo ne consumption ekuva kada?

and also sagam country white rice ekuva tinadu like we South Indians do
