AI can be used to detect the presence of other trains on the same track, hopefully we pour enough funding and resources into it.

First goods train didn't level cross

Coromanadal locomotive engineer didn't recognize this and failure in loop signal derailed coromanadal.. this happend in 6:40 p.

 

And at 10:30pm yeshwanthpur drove through the derailed bogies.. absolute mess

This is not t type accident .. 

Train entered the loop line where goods is parked..locomotive pilot should have notice goods 

And it was too late to stop the train ..

Signal system failure ...

There is a system, it's called auto signalling. But it's exclusively installed in only Delhi Mumbai & Delhi Mughalsarai (near Varanasi) .

 

Everywhere else we use absolute block system, where if something happens between two stations , we won't be able to know unless it's too late.
