Main lane lo vellalasina train loop lane ki enduku signal icharo teliyali first.. that’s the root cause. Human error emo anipistundi.

Only mistake is koramandal going to side track instead of going on it's main track. All other things are unfortunate. Both trains were passing at same time, no technology/intervention could have stopped the second tragedy.

US lo kuda bane derail avtai, just that no one uses them and mostly used for goods transportation.

I think they could have if they known about the accident they didn’t know for some time and signaled second train in the same route

They didn't have enough time both were given signal before the accident is what I read.
