Those are predictions. But YouTube isn’t paying that much in reality. There are some YouTube channels that show real earnings. YouTube pays only if ads play. If they don’t even if you see views on video they don’t pay for that view. Still they earn quite a lot but not as much as these predictions.

My college Telugu guy on opt and makes about 800-900K from last 2 years

so based on $1 to $29 per 1000 views, he gets aroun 

30K-50K <> 870k-1.45 million/ Month.

Don’t even look at social blade. They are useless numbers - they show all channels as earning income even if the channel doesn’t have minimum 1000 followers and 4000 hours of watch time in a year and not monetized (YT terms). Millions of dollars is just fake. Many channels don’t even break even and most channels don’t even reach 4000 hours of watch time to get monetized. They still have to maintain 4000 hours watch time each year.

There are way too many variables -

country where the views are coming from (India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, etc have low rates). What content may earn $3 in US may earn less than 50 cents in India for 1000 views.

Category of content (finance and tech categories have higher rates)

length of the videos. Longer videos have higher revenue but most users don’t watch longer videos. Clicking and closing a video doesn’t get any revenue. The longer they watch a video, the more ads.

users may disable YouTube ads using plugins

shorts have really small numbers but they are used to grow the channel

most shorts don’t play ads.

watching on mobile devices play fewer or no ads at all. I haven’t seen a single ad on phone and tablet watching in chrome in years. Most viewers are on mobile devices.

YT takes 45% cut and deducts taxes from the revenue before paying you the net.

you carry your own expenses and pay for your time.
