Buy an independent house. Apartment will never be a exclusive investment. It’s always subjected to constraints and other unprecedented circumstances.

In a typical residential property there are two things. Firstly, the permanent aspect of it i.e land. This is immovable and indestructible. On the other hand, you have a construction part. This is impermanent and it is subject to wear and tear. Why do you want to buy a impermanence part while relinquishing your options on permanence part?

It doesn’t make sense. Does it???

Avoid buying apartments for renting out , even fixed deposits give better returns than them

Only buy an apartment if you have intention to move in , atleast a few years from now

you can always buy an apartment in the future , there will be no dearth of apartments.  Invest in stock market or mutual funds or index funds  or house plot

Buy 150 sq yard plot for 60L and invest 40L on construction costs. Check vasthu and buy a east facing plot. Leave some space on all sides. You will have a real sense of ownership. Trust me

not true bro

I am getting 5% rental yield and the apartment is appreciating 10% per year. so total 15%

Investment is only 15% of total apartment value

Hypothetically speaking, let’s say 10 years from now there is a massive revamp in people’s perception of style. In that case, can you tear down the walls and make any structural changes??? Your options are very limited in that domain.

I don’t even think apartments avail a sole proprietorship rights. It’s a facade.
