I am depressed by the RTO announcement and enforcement from Google.
I don't want to 
1. waste time in commute
2. smell coworkers' farts in the bathroom
3. overhear their gossip at my desk
4. waste time finding/walking to a meeting room

Can anyone please tell me what companies currently offer full remote positions (and pay FANG pay) - I am ready to take a 20% cut.

I'm an L8 Director making $1,250,000 TC. I'm considering taking a contract role that pays hourly. I've read on Blind that 1.5x your hourly is a good starting point. In my case that would be about $925. My client is FAANG, and I'm trying to reach a fair price that is a bump up for me. Does that amount sound reasonable? If not, what numbers are you seeing?

If they pay me 125k I am happy here I. Canada

Going forward a lot of companies will outsource these remote jobs to offshore (European destinations like Hungary . you get 2 emp for 1 US emp and India you get 3 emp for 1 US emp) They have learnt that remote work is productive. My company started this and found success and planning to do more. Reduce cost without reducing productivity. This is really good for Indian employees. They get Fat payscale and work directly for client instead of vendors. Also remote job.
