Kids need variety. My kids eat anything made at home no matter how good they are as long as they get diff variety daily.

We make Indian, Thai (Green Curry, Basil chicken curry, Noodles, Fried rice), Mexican (Burrito, wraps, quesadillas, Burrito Bowl, Chinese, Sandwiches - Everything at home.

Most of the base preparation or snacks we make using Air Fryer with less oil. Healthy eating. We do eat outside as well occasionally or usually when we are out shopping.

Indian diet is not nutritious, it's a carb heavy diet and the reason for majority of desi kids growing up skinny. Adults become skinny fat with no muscle definition if they continue using that

need to incorporate lots of protein. Animal protein is way way better than plant protein

eat sautéd veggies for vitamins and minerals instead of putting in a curry(you don't eat the whole curry at one)

nothing wrong in eating rice but it shouldn't be the whole meal

there's a reason bodybuilders eat chicken, rice and broccoli daily

No matter how much we discuss about food, most Indians prefer Indian food. Its definitely carb heavy. Either incorporate more veggies/salads before meal or eat moderately or reduce eating outside food. Restaurants add way too much oil and less quality.

Are you suggesting AirFryers are unhealthy? Coz of Teflon coating? Or the whole Air Fryer vs Owen discussion?

I prefer hot air compared to untraviolet...also we use parchment sheets to avoid teflon coating. I know it defeats some purpose of air fryer. But helps with cleaning and avoiding teflon.

Next generation will see a lot of neck and shoulder issues coz of iphones and iPads. Also a lot of health issues coz of junk/outside food.  I hardly remember eating outside when I was a kid. Also because of Covid, WFH and YouTube cooking channels, Non-Veg and junk consumption at home has increased as well.

eating non-veg daily is not inherently bad but the way it's prepared matters

some western cultures eat meat twice a day with no issues

Agree. Too much salt and too many spices for non-veg preparation.

So that we get quality food in Indian restaurants.

These kids when they grow up, eat all kinds of junk food. And these restaurants cater to them.

This makes it very problematic for any sane person to eat at Indian restaurant.

Also, organ meat is more healthy than muscle meat.

of course, animals go for organs first for that reason

but it's not pleasant for us to eat all the time

It used to be pleasant.

As a kid it was normal for us to eat organ meat especially the liver.

We have to change our habits if those habits aren't serving us well.
