anywhere its a pressure on builder if  new homes that are ready and not sold. 

they have to pay property taxes and also looks bad to sell other homes .

 

They will increase incentives and get rid of them asap.

I don't think house prices are going to fall further even with rising interest rates. It paused and may be reduced 20% in Q42022/Q12023 but prices picking up again. There is too much of difference in supply vs demand.

I wish and hope I am wrong, lets see.

It is already confirmed that non-desi areas there is a major slowdown.

Q4 2022 / Q1 2023 prices have dropped or corrected. I am not sure about dallas, but I have seen this in Mountain House, San Ramon, Dublin, Pleasanton in California. But there is absolutely no inventory in market. Most people are not seeling as they bought with very low interest rates. Even a drop in prices do not effect as their monthly payments are less.

yes all that i agree. There is no inventory gatra. I dont know if correction already happened in dallas.

But what i am seeing is that new houses also waiting. These used to booked like hot cakes. and i suspect atleast some backed out.
