SF is home to the most valuable industry on the planet , it will never become Detroit until silicon valley is overtaken by something else 

The homeless problem is mostly restricted to tenderloin and areas near downtown . It's true that crime rate is extremely high but that's due to vote bank politics , when people vote for right candidates city will be alright 

Prices for residential properties in majority of the city are still extremely high
