A month is dedicated to a particular unsolved social issue to spread awareness about that particular issue. It’s not about celebration but about the awareness. The celebrations add up to showing the positivity of the social moment.

We also have mental illness awareness month (May), Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October), Black History Month, Asian Heritage Month, etc. Veelaithe preconceived notions tho alochinchakunda, open mind tho alochinchi ardam cheskondi.

So far there has been a positive impact. It is because of these events, people at least got to know that there are LGBTQ people living under a lot of social pressure and your own kids might identify themselves under LGBTQIA+ umbrella in future and knowing these would make them feel normal and coming out would be easy.

Irony is Indians complaining about racism and colorism and waiting for their  chance to be conservative against all other minorities.

Actually religious & ethnic minorities are more conservative in America than White people. It might not necessarily reflect in the voting patterns but it might change in the future.

So, why are there no celebrations, disorderly conducts, or hustling like the pride month about other months?

Indians may complain about everyone but they accept the differences, unlike this propaganda who wail round the clock for others' destruction.

It has certainly crossed the border, especially online. There is lot of unscientific videos going on, lot more displays in public places than usual, education at 12 years old is decent . But somehow 5 year olds are exposed to this stuff. confusing the little kids

Sex education of all sorts should start at 12. Period. Kids until 7th grade shouldn't be exposed to all this.

This liberal extremism is equally bad as white racist extremism.
