I live in Dublin/San Ramon/Pleasanton and its very pleasant. Cool breeze. It touches 90-100 only like 2-3 weeks a year. Not more. One of best places to live.

Livermore is hot but Tracy and Sacramento are different story. Very hot.

Home prices are reflected accordingly. Homes in Sacramento/Tracy are cheaper compared to Dublin/San Ramon/Pleasanton.

Because of UV rays and lack of ozone layer protection over US, makes heat very sharp and makes us tired quickly.

Is it really for that reason ? any links ? i thought it is because of longer days in us as it is more northerely. India lo summer lo kooda sun ends by 6.30-7 so we get relief. while here it goes to 9-9.30.

I don't remember how I know this. But here are some links. Its also one reason why Skin Cancer occurs a lot in people living in America where as in India, we never heard of it.

https://seas.harvard.edu/news/2017/06/evidence-shows-increased-risk-ozone-loss-over-united-states-summer

"A new study out of Harvard University reveals that the protective stratospheric ozone layer above the central United States is vulnerable to erosion during the summer months from ozone-depleting chemical reactions, exposing people, livestock and crops to the harmful effects of UV radiation."

https://thesleepdoctor.com/sleep-faqs/why-does-the-sun-make-you-tired/

"Sunlight contains ultraviolet (UV) light, and exposure to this UV radiation can cause sunburn. Results from one older study suggest that regular UV light exposure may contribute to increased mental fatigue."

ikkada sun danger, chances of getting skin cancer if you are exposed to sun for longer times, use sunscreen if you staying outdoor in sun for longer times like playing cricket, tennis etc

It's not just the heat, humidity plays a major role in how you feel. Midwest and eastern US is typically very humid throughout the year and it's the main reason for extreme summers and extreme winters. Western US has low humidity and is dry compared to other regions. I live in Denver and humidity is always <20%. 100F here is way better then 80F with 70% humidity. This is the reason winters are mild(it snows a lot and melts quick but not cold all the time) here
