Sinus problem

Anyone with Chronis Sinus problem? What remedies you do? Anything that works?

My problem gets worse during allergy season and with dust. Doctors suggest to take low dose steroid nasal spray every day but side effects. 

Sometimes I get crazy craving to drink something cold which makes my situation worse. 

I have tried Neti Pot but its not preventive. Same with steam inhalation.

I tried neti pot but its too much work.

I just take some warm water in my palm and breath in, during shower and it slowly cleans my sinuses.

You can use sprays during allergy season.

One other thing is that you can move back to India and it might go away....if possible

No. I am perfect weight. Regular hikes/walk. Used to gym a lot before but stopped coz of neck issues.

Agree on neti pot and steam inhalation. I get lazy to do it. When I have bad sinus I do.

Allergy season -> Nothing works. Tried all medication. Looks like there is a steroid shot that works but may cause other allergies later. 

Move back to India -> May be another 8 yrs.

Few days sugary food, coffee tea avoid chesi chudu.

May be you have  polyps, check with sinus specialist in ur area and they do surgery or. Some steroids

I dont eat sugar much. I stopped coffee long back. Tea is mostly black or green. No Sugar. 

However, when I have sinus peaks with sneezing and watery nose, I get sugar cravings along with cold beverage cravings.

I did. I got a surgery back in 2003 to remove them. It reduced a lot after that. 3 yrs back, doctors confirmed I dont have them. 

May be I have to start a food log and track sinus. Some foods may be causing/aggravating them.

Costco ki velli FLonase generic (Aller Flo ) konu.. paisal ekkuva aithe Flonase sensimist konu..

Allergy Season lo poddunna ,or if struggling with nose blockages during night each nostril lo 2 times spray as needed...

Keep that spray handy with you all time ....

 

I had two sinus surgeries...struggled all my life and these sprays changed my life...

Thanks bhayya. I was hoping to hear from someone with similar problem. Any side effects of using it? How often do you use? 

Like when you are normal - Do you use daily or only when affected?

Money's not issue. I will try Flonase Generic.

Allergy season lo i use daily morning, else stand up lo janalu andaru sick aa adugutaaru..Spring time ayyaka.. i use whenever needed.. 

Naa life anta ice creams, cold drinks dooram gaane unna.. idi start chesaka i dont hold back.. I asked my Allergist, PCP , ENT Specialist on side effects of long term use, they said most people use this regularly , its a low dose steroid and shouldnot cause much issues.

Long term solution aithe allergy shots ani chepperu kani consulting tho atu itu tirgutoo unta so anta dhairyam cheyyaledu..

flonase generic is cheaper.. Sensimist is costly , alage inkoka 2-3 brands unnai Nascort adi idi ani...basic gaa anni NAsal steroids ee

India lo doctors vipareetam gaa anti biotics + centrizine ichhe vallu...vati kanna ee nasal steroids baane pani chestunnai for last 3-4 yrs..
